The winner of the Rakett 69 science show, Andri Türkson, who stood out as an electronics enthusiast, received a scholarship from Incap Estonia, along with an internship opportunity in Saaremaa.
A scholarship of 2000 euros was awarded to Andri Türkson during the Rakett 69 finale by Margus Jakobson, Managing Director of Incap Estonia. Incap considers it important to contribute to the advancement of electronic education and to motivate youth in the field of engineering.
“Andri’s curiosity and cleverness are precisely the qualities that will help shape the future of the electronics industry. We are eager for him to join the Incap team for an internship after he graduates, during which he can gain hands-on experience in a real electronics manufacturing factory. We believe that we can offer inspiring opportunities and exciting challenges to Andri and other young individuals,” Jakobson explained.
This season’s Rakett 69 winner, Andri Türkson, is an eleventh grader at Miina Härma Gymnasium and has had a passion for technology from an early age. At home, he has a corner dedicated to inventing, where he works on numerous projects ranging from 3D printing to building electronic devices.
“The Rakett 69 experience was invaluable. I am fascinated by both cutting-edge technology and the everyday devices around us, and I want to contribute to these fields. I envision myself working as a prototype engineer or a product engineer in the future,” Türkson shared, reflecting on his recent success and his career aspirations.
Andri Türkson will participate in the Estonian Electronics Industries Association’s spring campaign “Learn electronics!”, which aims to introduce opportunities in the electronics field to other young engineering enthusiasts.
Rakett 69 is a science show supported by the Estonian Research Agency, which has been a growth platform for young enthusiasts of science and technology over the years.
